Old friends, new friends
When I walked into school this year I immediately reconnected with some old friends in my classes like Kassidy, Audrey, Morgan, and Paige who I have five classes with. So far I have also made new friends. It didn’t happen right away but some new friends of mine are Katy, Taylor, Erin, Melinda, and Brittany.

SHS activities attended
I haven’t really gotten a chance to go to a lot of the varsity games because of swimming but I had a lot of fun at the one I went to. Night on the field was amazing Katy, Erin, Kyla, Allie, Catie, Josie and I did karaoke together. If have been to all of the swim meets but that is because I’m a swimmer for Stevenson.

Funniest, weirdest, scariest moments
Well I would have to say walking in between two people making out in the hall way was the weirdest thing that’s happened to me since I’ve been here.

Hardest, easiest class and assignments
I would say my hardest class is geometry because we have homework every day but it is easy. Global Ed history is my favorite because of Mrs. Bergeski.

Top five current events
Hilary Clinton made huge budget cuts for schools, Herta Muller won the noble literature prize, president Obama won the Noble peace prize, a tsunami in Samoa caused an earthquake and over 300 people died, and a kid got into a balloon off his roof called balloon boy.

Faces in the news
Some faces seen a lot in the news are Hilary Clinton, Sonia sotto mayor the new Supreme Court justice, Hamid Karzi the president of Afghanistan, also Susan rice and Ban Ki Moon.
Interesting new words
Well some interesting new words I’ve come across this year are loquacious and akimbo I don’t know why but they just sound weird.


Popular or memorable songs
Well I can’t really think of any other songs than the ones that get stuck in my head at swim practice and those songs are one time by Justin Beiber, whatcha say by Jason Derullo and party in the USA by Miley Cyrus.

Popular or memorable movies
I haven’t really seen any movies this year but I did go see Whip it and that was really good. I want to go see Where the Wild Things Are because it looks good

Rumors and gossip
Rumors and gossip are a waste of time.

Fads and trends
Some things that are really popular now are flannel shirts, skinny jeans, moccasins, UGG boots and zebra and cheetah prints

First cultural event
For my first cultural event I went to the Henry ford museum with my mom and sister. I picked creative display and made a Wenier mobile shaped book out of cardboard and I got an A.

Homecoming
I am so excited for homecoming my dress is white and black and I’m going with a big group of people. I am loving spirit week too, but this year’s homecoming shirts are a little ugly.

Advice for freshman
Well don’t walk slowly in the hall it’s really annoying and don’t walk on the opposite side of that hallway. Also the doors where you can pass from one hallway to another lock so if you’re going to be late and no one is around don’t take the doors.don't be late to global ed English.

What I’m looking forward to
I’m looking forward to getting to be able to call seniority on the freshman next year
